WEDDINGS
First things first, budget
Before you start anything else, sit down with your partner, and others that may be contributing to your special day, and figure out how much money you have overall for your wedding.
List out your priorities
Once you know your budget, sit down with your partner and figure out your priorities. Do you both want a videographer, or could you go without one? Do you want real flowers or artificial flowers? Once you figure out your priorities, you can begin to allocate your budget based on your priorities.
Decide if you would like a planner or not--hire them A.S.A.P
Hiring a planner is most beneficial if you have them from the beginning of the process to help guide you through all the big things such as finding the best vendors, to the small details that you may not even think off. We may be a little biased, but regardless if you need someone only for the month of, or the day after your engagement, we recommend having a professional there to guide you along the way.
Book your top priority vendors
As soon as you know your priorities for vendors and you select your top ones, book them as soon as possible. That way you don’t risk them booking other weddings before you and losing out on the vendors you love!
Enjoy this special time with your fiance.
Wedding planning can get stressful and crazy, but don’t forget what the wedding is about--marrying the love of your life and starting your lives together. Take time to do date nights, talk to each other about your days, and overall make time to spend together. Being engaged is a short part of your life, but an incredibly special time!
